By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Liability Disclaimer:

The Barnyard Gift Company’s total liability for any claim howsoever shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by The Barnyard Gift Company to the customer. The Barnyard Gift Company shall not be liable for any consequential loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. The Barnyard Gift Company cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated on the website. Your statutory rights are not affected by this statement.

The Barnyard Gift Company endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However, The Barnyard Gift Company does not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies and typological errors.

Prices:

Prices are correct at time of publishing.

It may be necessary to change prices either up or down, from time to time. Any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of ordering.

Portrayal of Products:

While every effort has been made to ensure that all product information is correct, slight variations may occur. The Barnyard Gift Company cannot accept responsibility for any errors made.

All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow.

Please note there may be variations in colours dependent on the calibration and settings of individual screens.

Safety Regulations:

All products comply with appropriate safety and consumer regulations. Toys comply with EC Toy Safety Regulations and, where appropriate, carry the CE mark. If a product is recalled for any reason, you will be contacted.

Availability:

All items are subject to availability.

We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.

Cancellation:

You are entitled to cancel your order if you wish providing you act within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.

If your order has already been dispatched please follow our returns information.

Delivery:

We aim to dispatch orders within 2-3 days of receipt of order, however, please be aware that personalised items may take up to 21 days to be dispatched. Delivery is subject to payment/credit clearance and stock availability. Payment by cheque will delay this process as we will only dispatch goods once your cheque has cleared. Depending on weight and size, deliveries are either via Royal Mail or Courier service.

Very rarely, an item may be temporarily out of stock. We will inform you if this is the case as soon we have received your order and advise you of a delivery date.  Please inform us if you have a 'must deliver by' date.

Carriage is free on all UK mainland orders over £50.00 (please note, this discount will not be applied when any other discount is used). For mainland UK orders up to £50.00, carriage is £3.95. Carriage for all orders to Europe (including Eire and the Channel Islands) is £8.95 and to USA £12.95.  We do not currently deliver outside of these areas.

Cheques will be banked on receipt for security reasons. The invoice address must match that of your card statement address and a home telephone number is required.

Please use a delivery address where there is someone to sign for your parcel.

Returns:

If for any reason you are not delighted with your goods and would like to return them, please telephone us quoting your receipt number within 7 working days from the day after you receive your order.

Items must be returned in their original condition and with the original packaging. We cannot refund or exchange goods that have been assembled, used, washed or damaged or any personalised items.

Please obtain proof of posting when returning goods, as claims for lost returns parcels without proof of posting will not be accepted. We are unable to refund the cost of postage, with the exception of faulty goods. We try to process returns as quickly as possible however please allow up to 28 days.

The Barnyard Gift Company shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account.

The Barnyard Gift Company shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

Security:

We make every effort to make sure your personal data is secure, including name, address. We do not hold credit card information. Credit card payment is made through a secure website using the latest SSL technology. Information remains scrambled whenever it is transmitted over the web. This means that ordering via our site is even more secure than ordering over the phone.

Your privacy is important to us. We only use the information we collect about you carefully, lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Information we hold:

If you have shopped with us we will hold your name, address, telephone number and email address. We will also hold the delivery address(es) for your orders and the password information associated with your account. We also maintain a record of your product selections.

If you have requested a catalogue, entered a competition or completed feedback, we hold your name, address, telephone number and email address.

Information we use:

We use the information we hold on your records for operational purposes; for example processing your order, dealing with queries, tracking deliveries, reviewing past purchases.

Your order history enables us to tailor our product range and marketing information (e.g. promotions and special offers) to your requirements.

All the information we hold is used to improve your customer experience.

We also use the information to keep you up to date with The Barnyard Gift Company; mailing catalogues and promotions and sending emails as appropriate.

We will never make our customer information available to other companies.
